The Skulptur Projekte 2027 team is growing: two new positions are currently open.
For the preparation of the next Skulptur Projekte, the project team is looking to fill, as of August 1, 2026, a full-time (39 hours/week) position for a designer (f/m/d) and a staff member in art mediation (f/m/d).
Designer (f/m/d)
We are seeking a creative individual with experience in graphic and communication design, confident in using common design software (including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere), and with an interest in contemporary art and cultural projects.
Tasks include, among others: designing publications; developing communication materials for print, web, and social media; creating materials for art education and visitor information; and producing visual content, animations, and video editing.
The position works closely with the curatorial team, communications, art mediation, and external partners, and plays a key role in implementing the corporate design of Skulptur Projekte 2027.

Art mediation staff member (f/m/d)
We are looking for a person with a completed university degree (or university of applied sciences) in art, culture, media, or a comparable field. Ideally, the candidate has several years of relevant professional experience, as well as a strong interest in contemporary art, cultural participation, and socio-political and civic issues.
Tasks include, among others: contributing to the overall strategy for art mediation for Skulptur Projekte 2027; developing, organizing, and implementing formats to engage diverse audiences; and leading a participatory mediation project in collaboration with local partners.
